Equipment Needed:

gymnasium
2 badminton nets (for 6 courts)
8 poles ( to hold nets)
30 rackets
54 shuttles

Attendance

2 minutes

Warm-up

begin with a light jog forward 
jog backwards
zigzag backwards
light jog forward
shuffle step facing the court
shuffle step facing the wall 
light jog forward
reach for the ground 
- when the teacher says "right" the students touch the ground with their right hand
- when the teacher says "left" the students touch the ground with their left hand
whistle blow means "jump"
light jog forward

Stretching

3 minutes

Clear/Smash/Drop

one person begins by clearing the shuttle, the other person smashes, 
then the other person returns the smash in a drop shot (keep the cycle going)
proper grip
footwork
try and keep a rally going with your partner
half court
5 minutes

Tournament
 

see tournament list
see tournament schedule
see tournament playoffs 
4 matches
make the semi-finals and finals 15 minutes, for each division
prizes for first in each division (don't tell them until the playoffs)
60 minutes
